Most recent pic of the 75G planted tank. Our original 40 gallon freshwater tank with some plants. Good shot of the stand/cabinet/canopy that I built out of pine, stained with a maple stain. 45G bowfront glass tank with rounded front corners (no seams). This is my brackish puffer tank.

Our first tank was a 40 gallon tank (shown in the above pictures). The cabinet and hood I built myself and a fully functional. I then decided to upgrade to a 75 gallon tank as shown below.

DIY Lighting: I have a separate page for my ODNO (Over Driven Normal Output) lighting. Turn your regular cheap fluorescent lights as bright as compact fluorescent for a fraction the cost!

Custom Canopy I made to match my solid pine stand, using the ODNO technology to get more light for my plants for cheap. Has four 48" bulbs, LED moonlights, cooling fans, all custom built.

CO2 I am putting together a page for info on my CO2 setup.

Draining down the 40g tank into a plastic tote, were the fish will call home for the next few weeks. Here is most of all the new stuff, including a new 75g tank. I adapted my stand for the 75g tank by making it wider. Not finished yet. Here is the 75g tank on my modified stand that was designed for a 40g tank. Who said that couldn't be done?

I decided to try CO2 injection and stock the tank with many plants. A close-up of the CO2 regulator, relay, needle valve, and bubble counter. Tank being filled and some plants and driftwood are put in. A few more plants added.

After a lot of neglect, many plants perished. Here I am starting to add some more plants back. Another pic of the tank. Its kind of a jungle right now, just cant arrange everything how I want it. Need a bigger tank! Pic taken same time as the one to the left, but under different lighting conditions. And here is a more recent pic.

Sorry these plant pictures aren't nicer, really haven't done much aquascaping yet, just trying to get everything balanced and growing good till I upgrade to my next tank.

I made my own 'lunar lights' by purchasing some blue leds and wiring up a simple power supply. Eheim 2026 Pro II canister filter to replace the built in filter in my Odyssea 45G bowfront tank. Setting up the 45G for brackish. Aragonite substrate, rift rock, and driftwood.
