Here are some of the wood projects I have built in the last few years. I am not an expert carpenter or a master craftsman, just someone with some tools and someone who likes the natural beauty of wood.

A finished Adirondack chair. Stained with golden oak and finished with an indoor/outdoor spar uruthane. |  |
Here is a 3-tier planter I made out of cedar (its crooked because its just sitting in empty holes - not cemented in place yet). | |

Starting the back slats. Pine was used in all of my first few chairs I made to keep costs down. |  |
A large shelf I made all out of 2x4 lumber and topped with 1/8" hardboard. I made a matching smaller shelf too. | |

Screwing the seat slats into place. I used shims to get the spacing equal. |  |

Everything assembled, and a radius was cut across the top. Filled in all the screw heads with wood filler. |  |

A simple key holder. Its the first thing I made using a router. Red oak with a cherry polyshades finish. | |

Here is a workbench I built out of 2x4's, plywood, and hardboard. Easy to build and super-heavy-duty. |  |
